Implemented in 1996, the HFTP Chapter Choice Award was introduced at HFTP Leadership Academy to reward and recognize chapter success stories. Due to the benefits other chapters receive from the sharing of these stories and the fun chapters have presenting their entries, the Chapter Choice Award is a favorite among Leadership Academy attendees every year. Every chapter has at least one idea they are proud of, such as a new tool to motivate members, a great recruitment campaign, a brand new web page or a successful fundraiser.

The Chapter Choice Award is the perfect opportunity to show off these ideas, and the only thing the chapter needs to do to be eligible to participate, is to be represented at Leadership Academy. There are no set categories for the Chapter Choice Awards. Chapters may consider submitting an entry on membership recruitment/retention, special education programs and seminars, publicity, newsletters, community service, social activities and volunteer involvement.
