After 18 years since the previous, the chapter restarted a regional conference at the Conrad N. Hilton College, University of Houston. Participants were professionals at all levels of accounting and IT from Houston, New Orleans, Oklahoma, Austin, San Antonio and Dallas. The program offered great speakers, the opportunity to earn up to 12 CPE credits, a CHAE review and great entertainment. The reboost of this regional conference allowed the chapter to make contact with other chapters, creating potential for future collaboration on regional conferences. In addition, the conference generated money for the chapter.

The chapter found this event to be a tremendously rewarding experience for all who were involved. It provided a service to the chapter members, as well as other area chapters and HFTP in general. This also gave an additional educational opportunity for those who couldn't attend HITEC and the HFTP Annual Convention & Tradeshow.
