Tara Golf & Country Club

Larry Perkins began working at Tara in August 2007 as the Controller/Assistant General Manager. He is a Florida native and graduated from Stetson University in Deland, FL in 1982. Larry has 20 years of public accounting experience and five years as senior management for local organizations. His experience in public accounting includes audit and tax preparation of local condominiums and homeowners associations.

Situated on a 1,100-acre property in Bradenton, Florida, Tara Golf & Country Club went under a $7.5 million renovation program in 2009. One of the highlights in the multi-million-dollar renovation in Tara was the restoration of its clubhouse to its Southern plantation style and ambience, and the enhancement of kitchen facilities. These certainly have resulted in a tremendous upgrading of members’ privileges at Scarlett’s Restaurant, the clubhouse venue for casual and formal dining, as well as other social occasions. Positive impact was also rendered to the other club amenities and facilities. These included enhanced member privileges at The Grille Room, the two lighted tennis courts, modern fitness center, sauna, and pro shop. Further member benefits are enjoyed at the clubhouse patio and multi-purpose rooms that can accommodate meetings, private gatherings, and card games.

Anthony Greising has been the General Manager at Tara since 1994. He is originally from Lancaster, PA and graduated from Millersville State University with a degree in Business Administration. Tony began his golf career in 1986 at the Dunedin Country Club in Clearwater, FL . Tony thoroughly enjoys working for, and interacting with, the members of Tara.
