IRVING, Texas -- Wayport, Inc. announced today a new agreement with Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces to provide high-speed Internet access at the three U.S. Taj luxury hotels – The Pierre (New York), Campton Place (San Francisco) and the Taj Boston.
Wayport, who enables applications, devices and services on a single converged network, will offer Wi-Fi service in guest rooms, meeting rooms and common areas at each hotel. All three luxury properties are members of Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd.
"Taj Hotels has more than 100 years of history in providing the very best amenities to our business and leisure travelers,” said Raymond Bickson, CEO and Managing Director of Taj Hotels. “Wayport was the clear choice for us because of their experience and their expertise in offering premium service for hospitality guests.”
Wi-Fi Internet access for guests is offered for a fee determined by the individual property. In addition, each location will offer one CyberCenter Express unit, Wayport’s public PC station, in each location’s business center.
Wayport’s expertise in enhancing guest services for the hospitality market includes design, installation, support and maintenance services aligned with our clients’ specific requirements.
Support services include 24X7 network monitoring, a 24X7 in house call center for guest support and customized conference solutions.
