Attention, HFTP members: Your chance to attend an HFTP regional conference is well within reach. Throughout the...years, HFTP chapters have planned and hosted regional conferences across North America.

This year, four regionals in the Mid-West, Mid-South Atlantic, Florida and Texas will take place in the span of six months. These bring you concentrated hospitality finance and technology education and connections to fellow industry professionals in your area. Planned by its own dedicated advisory council, each event promises a unique program and networking opportunities especially designed for your professional development.

First Up: The HFTP Mid-South Atlantic Regional Conference

No, you are not in Boston with Sam, Norm and Cliff. You are at the HFTP Mid-South Atlantic Regional Conference. This event remains a hit with attendees because of its affordable cost and intimate nature — providing excellent value for a minimal investment.

Next: The HFTP Texas Regional Conference

This conference will be out of this world — Attend an elite educational event in the destination city of Houston, which will feature an exclusive tour of Space Center Houston.

Conference speakers have been carefully selected to present on trending topics vital to the hospitality industry like leadership, technology, revenue and law. You will get the most out of two days at this conference, conveniently located right across from the Hobby airport — just 35 minutes from downtown Houston's invigorating night life. Consider staying through the weekend and bring your family down to Galveston to enjoy the beach.

This conference is hosted by the HFTP Greater Austin Chapter, Greater Houston Chapter, North Texas Chapter, and the HFTP San Antonio Chapter.

The Texas Regional Conference will also feature a shared seminar with the HFTP Mid-West Regional Conference via a two-way broadcast from Houston on Saturday morning. The speaker is from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, who will discuss "Current Threats and Active Shooters."

At the Same Time: The HFTP Midwest Regional Conference

The HFTP Mid-West Regional will tackle a new concept this year: The "Unconference."

Attend Friday for an open space styled conference with topics and discussions created that day by the attendees. Have you noticed that a chapter roundtable discussion can be more lively than a formal presentation? The 'Unconference' expands on this to give attendees more takeaways than a traditional agenda. For those who enjoy the structure of educational sessions, the offerings available on Saturday morning will be more traditional.

The Mid-West Regional Conference is hosted by the HFTP Chicago Chapter, Greater Detroit Chapter, West Michigan Chapter, Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter and Greater Milwaukee Chapter.

Last (but Certainly Not Least): The HFTP Florida Regional Conference

This summer is the perfect time to make your way to the "Sunshine State" for education, exhibits and networking with approximately 150 of your fellow hospitality professionals.

The HFTP Mid-Florida Chapter...is excited to host the HFTP Florida Regional Conference at the fabulous Streamsong Resort. When you arrive, you will be impressed by the beauty of the surrounding area and the architectural design of this truly one-of-a-kind resort. This two-day conference packed with education will provide opportunity for attendees to earn up to 15 CPE points. The keynote speaker will deliver a thought-provoking topic for all attendees to enjoy....

To ensure a great learning experience, the planning committee reached out to Florida-wide HFTP members to secure speakers and topics that meet the needs of club, IT and finance professionals. The event will feature three...concurrent tracks so attendees can maximize their time learning valuable information.

Finally, at the conclusion of the conference on Friday evening, join other attendees for an informal rooftop "wine down" at sunset. Plan to stay with your family through the weekend to enjoy the amenities offered at Streamsong such as golf, skeet shooting, archery and fishing.
