Payroll: What’s New that I Need to Know? Presented by:

Daniel Dycus, CPP

The presentation will include discussions on accelerated Form W-2 filing, FLSA white collar exemptions, and same day ACH.

Daniel Dycus is the Senior Director of Education Services for the American Payroll Association (APA) and the Global Payroll Management Institute (GPMI). In this role, Dan has the overall responsibility of the Education Division for the APA and GPMI.

Before joining APA in 2015, Dan was the Senior Manager of Accounting for Intelsat Corporation where he managed the Global Payroll and Payroll Accounting Department. During his 25 year career, he has managed payroll, accounts payable, benefits and accounting for a variety of organizations from 8 employees to over 300,000.  Dan is a member of three local APA chapters: Washington Metropolitan Area Chapter, Colonial Capital Chapter and Charles Town West Virginia Chapter. Dan obtained his CPP designation in 1999.

This is a basic level course and you are expected to come out with a basic understanding of the above subjects. To receive a refund, cancellations must be made by Tuesday November 15, 2016. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, this session will qualify for 1 credit based on a 50 minute hour in the field of Personnel/Human Resources.
