Member Categories and Prices
All HFTP members have access to benefits and resources to advance their career in the hospitality industry. Membership categories below help define which member type compliments a postion. Voting rights and eligibility for officer positions are also determined by membership type.
GLOBAL DUES PRICING*
HFTP offers reduced membership dues for some countries. Please review the dues pricing information found on the HFTP Membership Application to see the reduced rates.
Principal Members-$415 USD
Primary function- accounting, financial management, or information technology activities. Titles include but not limited to:chief financial officers, controllers, and other accounting personnel, chief information officers, directors of information technology, supervisors of management information systems, and other technology personnel. Employers or management companies must be actively engaged in the hospitality industry.
Agent Members-$415 USD
Primary function-employed by a public accounting firm and consulting firm actively engaged in the hospitality industry. Act as an agent to providers of hospitality experiences and advise on actions that are normally performed by Principal Members.
Education Members-$415 USD
Primary function- employed full time in a post-secondary hospitality academic institution that advise, conduct hospitality research, or teach hospitality accounting, financial management, or information technology programs.
Allied Members- $415 USD
Primary function- provide goods and services to Principal or Agent Members or their employers and who do not qualify as Agent Members. Members of this class provide and endorse specific goods and services.
Industry Members-$415 USD
Primary function- press employees and active leaders in the hospitality industry that wish to support the Association.
Apprentice Members-$415 USD
Apprentice Members shall be individuals who have an interest in the hospitality industry. Members of this class may not vote or hold office in the Association.
Primary function-actively enrolled in a post-secondary academic program leading to qualification as a Principal, Agent, or Education Member.
Young Professionals-$200 USD
Those who are 30 years of age and under - must provide date of birth to qualify and leading to qualification as a Principal, Agent, or Education Member.
Faculty Advisers-$200 USD
Those who advise HFTP Global's Student Chapters as an Education Member.
Retired Members-$70 USD
Individuals who have retired from full-time employment and who have been members of the Association for a minimum of ten (10) years are eligible for Retired membership.

Principal Members may vote, serve on and chair committees as determined by the Board of Directors and hold office on the International Board and Executive Committee.
Education Members may vote, serve on and chair committees as determined by the Board of Directors from time to time and hold office on the International Board and Executive Committee.
Allied Members may vote, serve on and chair committees as determined by the Board of Directors and may serve on the Board of Directors, but may not hold office on the International Executive Committee.
Retired Members may not hold office in the Association, but shall be eligible to vote and serve on international committees.
Non-Voting Member Categories include: Industry, Apprentice and Students.
