Revenue Management - Out With the Old, In With the New
Revenue management has not only become one of the main drivers of hotel success, it has gone through a metamorphosis and become more complex than ever. Taking on the role of revenue manager is becoming harder by the day and many feel that bringing in a system will be the answer to all their prayers, but will it? This session will discuss the essential aspects of revenue management, what is needed to lay the foundation for good revenue management and how to transform your organisation into a well-oiled revenue management machine.
Niels Mekenkamp, CRME is Director of Hospitality Pre-Sales - EMEA at Infor.

From Data Chaos to Data Insight
Drowning in data but starved of meaningful information? It is not only the volume of data collected today that challenges business users but the variety of data sources. Many businesses struggle to organise their data for improved decision-making, profits and growth. Della Payne will explain how a phased approach can lead a business from the chaos of multiple data sources and formats to a structured, integrated environment where business analytics can deliver real benefits.
Della Payne is Managing Director at change++.
13:00 - 14:00 CEST
Corporate Social Responsibility
Hotel companies play a key role in tourism and consequently, sustainability. In this type of business it is necessary to improve the effectiveness of tourism governance which is a crucial factor for boosting sustainable tourism. This webinar will introduce the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and discuss ISO Principles of Social Responsibility. Learn about a comprehensive sustainability management tool for the hotel industry structured in six dimensions: environmental, social, cultural, economic, political and corporate governance. In addition, see examples of hotels’ best CSR practices and the application of the proposed tool in the Spanish hotel case, using as sample those listed companies that publish a sustainability report according to Global Reporting Initiative.
Roberto Rodriguez is Bachelor Degree Program Manager at Les Roches Marbella.
14:30 - 15:30 CEST
