Once again, the HFTP Club Summit last week offered club professionals an exciting education program, table-top exhibits and the opportunity for close-knit, high-level networking. Taking place March 25–26 at The DeSoto Hotel in Savannah, Georgia, the sixth-annual event attracted 145 club professionals, making it a sold-out event for its first time.

“What a great time to spend with similar-minded professionals learning about the importance of protecting our clubs, best practices, and industry updates,” wrote Tessa Leverett, staff accountant for the Arizona Country Club.

Also, “Provides a great opportunity to meet empathetic peers from across the country in an environment of practical educational enrichment,” wrote Gregory Doyle, controller and office administrator for the New Canaan Field Club.

Carefully curated by the expert HFTP Club Advisory Council, this year’s education slate was designed to address many of the industry’s greatest ongoing challenges and trends today. Attendees benefited from cybersecurity advice, leveraging the power of language AI, risk mitigation, an update on club and HR legal issues, modern data reporting strategies, and much more.

To understand these topics further, take a glance at the session presentations.

The event paired its educational offerings with table-top exhibits featuring representatives from several club solution provider companies. This exhibition gives attendees an opportunity to explore services and products available to them in relation to what they learn about in the education sessions.

“We want to thank your team for their dedication in putting on a superb Club Summit,” wrote Michael Collins, representing exhibiting company Clubspot. “This was our company’s first HFTP event, and we are thrilled to join in on more.”

Established in 2018, the HFTP Club Summit has quickly become a key program for the association’s club segment offerings. The conference provides a setting for high-level club professionals and industry experts to directly address the topics that are most compelling and important to this specialized segment of hospitality. It also encourages attendees to build valuable connections with other professionals in the club sector through various networking opportunities.
